Our Goal
Colonial Hills Student Ministry is a place where Middle and High School students encounter God, develop a deep love of His Word, and connect with students and adult leaders who want them to know Him personally. Our purpose is to spread the name of Jesus throughout our communities so that the people around us can experience the life He offers us

We are located on the second floor. The easiest way to get there is to go up the stairs by the Welcome Center. Students meet in the Student Center for Sunday School and Upper Room, and will then split off to their classrooms (Sunday School) or the Upper Room (Upper Room).
Sunday:
Sunday School is a small group model, where our students build community with their peers and develop rich spiritual habits. Classes are arranged by school and gender, and are taught by hand-picked men and women with a desire to mentor the next generation of believers.
We offer four classes:
Middle School Boys
Middle School Girls
High School Boys
High School Girls
Wednesday:
Each Wednesday of the month offers different ways to grow as a follower of Christ!
The first and second Wednesdays of the month we have our Upper Room worship service. Our doors are open at 6:00PM for students to grab a snack, hang out, and talk with friends. The Upper Room service will start around 6:20PM. We start with worship, led by our student worship team, Elohim Worship. After worship, we lead into a fun game that ties into the lesson taught by our Student Minister, Garrett Rodden. Each message is connected to Biblical truth that will equip them to see the world through a Gospel lens.
Third Wednesdays are our Small Group Nights. Our students gather in small groups to discuss the message theme for that month. Small groups are designed for our students to be vulnerable and connect with each other on a deeper level.
Fourth Wednesdays are our Fellowship Nights. These are nights dedicated to students having fun! We desire for an authentic community at Colonial Hills, so we strive to offer opportunities for people to truly connect with each other, in a way that honors God. These nights can be anything from dodgeball tournaments to karaoke!
Fifth Wednesdays are our Serve Nights. Students will meet at the church, and be sent out to serve in the Tyler community. We want to be a Student Ministry that impacts our community in the name of Jesus!
